Synopsis

In a world where shadows come alive and sins are confessed in whispers, Prayer tells the haunting tale of a young priest, Han Byul, who is caught in a web of darkness and desire. As a devout man, he has vowed to serve the light, but his resolve is tested when an enigmatic figure, Seong Joon, begins to appear in his prayers. Known only as the "Shadowman," Seong Joon’s presence stirs something forbidden within Han Byul—a mixture of dread and attraction that quickly spirals into obsession. Unbeknownst to Han Byul, Seong Joon is not merely a figment of his imagination, but a possessed entity who lurks in the hidden recesses of the church, seeking redemption through the priest's purity. As their encounters grow increasingly intimate and invasive, the line between sacred devotion and sinful desire blurs, dragging Han Byul into a dark, erotic world of biting, thrusting, and unexplained ecstasies.
